At Interiors By Moyanne, we welcome the opportunity to provide as much or as little guidance through the process as you desire. Some of our clients prefer a hands-off approach and let us handle selling the contents of the home. Others enjoy meeting with those who are interested in purchasing the furniture, décor, collectibles, and other items, but leave the management of the sale to us.
We begin the process by meeting with you to go over how estate sales work and the process that we utilize to reach the favorable conclusion you have in mind. We generally utilize a combination of an estate auction and holding whatever is left to sell on consignment to those in the Richmond, Virginia area who might have missed the auction. We can also accommodate a donation of items, if desired, to our nonprofit, Moyanne’s Angels, that works with local shelters and churches who vet families who are in need of furnishings. We would also like to note that if you also need to sell the home, our owner is a licensed Realtor with Coldwell Banker Forehand & Co.
